Algebra 2/Trig, Precalculus, and/or Physics Teachers (Part-Time)

Covenant is seeking part‑time teachers in Algebra 2/Trig, Precalculus, and/or Physics beginning in the 2026‑2027 academic year, with the potential to add to the teaching load in the future if desired.

Classes will take place on Tuesdays, Thursdays, and Fridays in our Collegiate Model high school, which features 3 days of in‑class instruction. This is a great opportunity for those seeking part‑time work to share their passion for math and physics with engaged and motivated students.

Our approach to mathematics emphasizes conceptual understanding, and our approach to science emphasizes mastery, wonder, and integration. The school will provide the teacher with the necessary training and support to help teachers implement the materials in ways that help students gain knowledge and mastery at each grade level.

A bachelor’s degree in Mathematics, Physics, Engineering or a related field is desired (and a master’s degree is preferred). Teaching experience at the secondary level is also strongly desired. Successful candidates will have a resonance with the classical and Christian approach to schooling, a teachable spirit, a readiness to work hard and to collaborate with others, and a love for Christ and students.

We value teachers who are able and willing to implement, or learn to implement, the best practices of classical, Christian schooling. This includes direct instruction and deeper level questioning while also preparing engaging, developmentally appropriate lessons and managing the classroom in a way that builds a community of grace. We are eager to welcome to our team teachers who are passionate about educating and who model the joy and humility we seek to cultivate among our students.

We would love to hire experienced educators with a classical schooling background, but we are also willing to train the right candidates in classical philosophy and pedagogy.
