QualificationsMasters in Library Science from ALA-Accredited program; working knowledge of website management, computer programs, background of civic involvement, online search skills, youth and children's work, and valid driver's license.
Primary JobPlans, implements and coordinates services/programs in the
Responsibilitiesthree counties of the Southwest Georgia Regional Library System. Plans and coordinates comprehensive public relations outreach program, oversees website management, and assists with collection development and statistics for library system. Plans and manages public service in Decatur County. Work requires considerable skill, initiative, independent judgment, professional ethics and follow through. Ability to exercise mature judgment and maintain confidentiality of administrative matters.
Nights and weekend work is required.
