Solid Waste Landfill Technician

Civil & Environmental Consultants, Inc. (CEC), is seeking a Solid Waste Landfill SEM Technician for our Chicago office.

Potential sign‑on and relocation bonus, if applicable.

• 2 + years of basic knowledge of principles and practices related to the operation of landfill systems
• Will work as a member of a project team(s) to complete specific assignments at municipal solid waste landfill(s) in Midwest (rarely overnight)
• Willing to work in the beautiful outdoors a majority of the time
• Able to lift up to 35 pounds
• 40‑hour HAZWOPER certificate preferred
• Valid Driver's License
• Competency in Microsoft Word and Excel and working with Android and other technology will be necessary with the associated work.
• Great verbal and written communication skills
• Work truck (with tools) provided for travel to and from job sites
• Personal protective Equipment provided

The posting range for this position is between $59,616 - $87,210 based on experience and location (in addition, CEC offers overtime pay and other great benefits).
