Produce survey-related projects using AutoCAD Civil 3DMentor, train and oversee the work of field staff
Prepare calculations and project preparation for field crews
Schedule field work Produce and implement survey field standards and quality control
Recommend field equipment purchases and upgrades for the department
Check field work to verify completeness and accuracy
On site assistance on field survey projects as a supervisor
Assist with recruiting and evaluating new hires
Communicate with Leadership and Project Managers on constant basis
Qualifications
At least 5 years of relevant experience in land development (commercial, industrial, single-family, etc.) and municipal development projects
Must possess the Professional Land Surveyor licensure in Illinois or ability to obtain within 1 year.
Advanced knowledge of survey field procedures
Advanced knowledge of survey equipment and software (Trimble a plus)
Ability to evaluate field data and perform survey calculations in AutoCAD Civil 3DAbility to oversee and manage a project team of field survey staff
Verbal skills and organizational ability to communicate with project managers and staff
Time management skills
The position offers a competitive salary range of $90,000-$140,000, commensurate with experience
