As a Systems Engineer, you will work as the engineering interface between L8 Autonomous Hauling Application teams and L6 base machine systems teams.  You will be responsible for autonomy hardware and software solution integration with base machine systems.

* What You Will Do:

*** Work closely with Autonomy Systems integration engineers and architects to ensure the product architecture requirements are fulfilled.
* Work with Technical program managers and Application Architects to ensure that program requirements are being met (time, cost, quality).
* Ensure that Base machine software changes are delivered on time for command for hauling releases. These can be NPI and CPI solutions depending on the state of the program.
* Support Field data collection kits activities. Including design support, procurement, coordinating shipping to site, and kit test support.
* Documenting architecture specifications, software design description, verification plans, test cases, operating procedures, and safety procedures.
* Assisting in the verification and validation process. Includes supporting/troubleshooting hardware in the loop and proving ground test and development.
* Participating in design and development of application software and algorithms for robotic platforms.

* Education Requirements:

** Requires a degree in an accredited Engineering, Computer Science, or Materials Science curriculum.
** Consideration for Top Candidates:
*** Proven experience as a Systems Engineer supporting requirements definition on technical engineering product development projects
* Mining or Construction Industry Experience required
* Experience developing and defining system level requirements
* Prior development or engineering experience preferred
* Prior experience in systems integration preferred
