VP Aviation is hiring Avionics Technicians in Moline, Illinois.

These permanent and contract-to-hire opportunities support business aircraft maintenance, avionics installations, troubleshooting, repairs, modifications, and system upgrades.

Offering $880.00 to $1,760.00 per week at 40 hours

Multiple shift options are available: day shift, weekend shift, and second shift positions.

Responsibilities
  • Troubleshooting and repairing aircraft avionics and electrical systems
  • Installing, modifying, and upgrading avionics equipment and components
  • Performing aircraft wiring, routing, termination, and system integration
  • Testing navigation, communication, electrical, and flight management systems
  • Reading and interpreting wiring diagrams, engineering drawings, and maintenance manuals
  • Performing operational checks and system testing
  • Completing required maintenance and repair documentation
  • Supporting aircraft inspections, modifications, and upgrade projects
  • Maintaining tools, test equipment, and work areas in accordance with company procedures
Qualifications
  • High School Diploma or GED
  • Minimum two years of aircraft avionics experience
  • Experience troubleshooting aircraft electrical and avionics systems
  • Ability to read and interpret technical manuals and wiring diagrams
  • Knowledge of FAA regulations including FAR Parts 43, 91, 135, and 145
  • Ability to work overtime as needed
  • Strong attention to detail and commitment to quality workmanship
Preferred Experience
  • Business aircraft avionics systems
  • Flight Management Systems (FMS)
  • Navigation systems
  • Communication systems
  • EFIS systems
  • Aircraft electrical systems
  • Pitot-static systems
  • Avionics installations and modifications

The following are considered a plus:

  • FCC License
  • A&P License
