Required Qualifications
  • Bachelor of Science degree in Engineering from an ABET-accredited institution.
  • Minimum 7 years of experience in natural gas pipeline engineering and design.
  • Minimum 4 years of direct experience designing ILI launcher and receiver facilities.
  • Experience managing pipeline engineering projects from conceptual design through construction, commissioning, and as-built documentation.
  • Strong understanding of natural gas transmission systems, pipeline stations, and integrity management programs.
  • Demonstrated ability to manage multiple priorities while delivering accurate and timely engineering solutions.
  • Excellent communication, leadership, client management, and relationship-building skills.
Preferred Qualifications
  • Professional Engineer (PE) license or ability to obtain licensure within one year.
  • Experience in consulting engineering environments.
  • Basic proficiency with CAD software and engineering design tools.
  • Previous experience supporting utility, transmission, or midstream pipeline clients.
  • Gas transmission pipeline experience strongly preferred.
  • Extensive technical knowledge of industry codes and standards including ASME/ANSI/API/NFPA/CSA codes (ASME B31.3, B31.4, B31.8, 49 CFR 192, 193 & 195), and NFPA 59A.
Desired Skills
  • Ability to independently lead client-facing engineering projects with minimal oversight.
  • Strong technical project management capabilities, including scope management, schedule tracking, design reviews, and client coordination.
  • Experience developing engineering markups, managing design revisions, and coordinating multidisciplinary teams.
  • Strong understanding of pipeline stations, pigging facilities, and associated infrastructure.
  • Proven ability to build trusted client relationships while delivering high-quality engineering solutions.
  • Excellent organizational, problem-solving, and time-management skills.
  • Ability to effectively communicate with both technical and non-technical stakeholders.
  • Flexible, collaborative, and solutions-oriented approach to project execution.
