Overview
Civil & Environmental Consultants, Inc. (CEC) is seeking a Geotechnical Engineering Project Manager for our Napeville, IL office. The role involves managing a range of projects across energy generation and transmission, manufacturing, commercial real estate, transportation, recycling and waste management.
Key responsibilities include coordinating and monitoring subsurface drilling investigations, reviewing boring logs, developing laboratory testing programs, interpreting laboratory data, performing geotechnical analyses, and preparing reports.
Construction project duties include managing field engineers and technicians, reviewing field reports and field test results, confirming compliance with project design drawings and specifications, and meeting with clients and stakeholders.
Potential sign‑on and relocation bonus, if applicable.
The posting range for this position is between $84,456 - $154,494 based on experience and location. CEC offers overtime pay and other benefits.
Qualifications- 5+ years of Geotechnical Engineering experience
- Professional Engineer License (P.E.)
- Bachelor's in Civil Engineering, specializing in Geotechnical Engineering
