- Lead the creation of precise engineering documents, ensuring they meet strict industry codes and client expectations while collaborating across disciplines to deliver innovative, safe solutions.
- Maintain up‑to‑date knowledge of industry codes, safety standards, and nuclear design techniques, and prepare error‑free engineering documents adhering to industry codes, standards, and client requirements.
- Produce high‑quality engineering deliverables aligned with client expectations and project scopes. Conduct peer and technical reviews to ensure accuracy and compliance.
- Build strong client relationships through professional communication and quality deliverables. Collaborate across disciplines to ensure design compatibility and meet all project requirements.
- Manage project schedules, resources, and budgets to ensure timely, cost‑effective delivery. Serve as Responsible Engineer (RE) or Lead Responsible Engineer (LRE) to lead project success.
- Bachelor's degree in Mechanical Engineering from an ABET‑accredited university.
- Minimum of 3 years of experience in critical facilities or power design for mid‑level projects.
- Knowledge of critical facilities HVAC systems, including datacenter and/or telecommunications project design with an understanding of reliability, redundancy, and diversity in system designs.
- Experience with chilled water systems, pumping systems, piping systems, cooling towers, air handling systems, refrigerant systems (DX air handlers), fan systems and ductwork, raised floor, overhead, and in‑row cooling systems, Title 24, Trane Trace, building controls systems, and developing project specifications.
- Proficiency with Microsoft Office Suite and AutoCAD in an engineering setting.
- Professional Engineer license preferred.
- Excellent oral and written communication skills; ability to work both individually and as part of a team.
- Ability to travel 10%–15% of the time; duration of travel may vary depending on project and client needs.
USD $95,000.00 – USD $ per year.
