Technical Sales Engineer – U.S. Market Expansion
Are you an experienced engineer with a strong technical background and project management skills? We are seeking a highly skilled Technical Engineer to provide critical support and drive the growth of our operations in the U.S. market. If you have a knack for solving complex problems and managing intricate projects, we want to hear from you!
Must have Vacuum / Filter experience in a manufacturing environment.
What you will do:
- Address technical inquiries and prepare detailed proposals.
- Conduct technical presentations and training for both customers and internal teams.
- Lead and oversee customer projects from initial concept through to successful commissioning.
- Ensure projects are completed on time and within budget.
- Offer expert technical consultation and support to optimize product applications.
- Perform on‑site visits to address technical inquiries, troubleshoot issues, and provide commissioning support.
- Contribute to the customization and development of products to meet the specific needs of the U.S. market.
- Collaborate with the R&D team to develop innovative solutions.
- Collect and analyze market data to identify trends and opportunities.
- Support the development of market entry strategies and competitive analysis.
What you will need:
- Bachelor’s degree in Mechanical Engineering, Electrical Engineering, Process Engineering, or a related technical field.
- Additional qualifications (e.g., MBA) are a plus but not required.
- Minimum of 5 years in a similar role, preferably within an industrial setting.
- Proven experience in managing technical projects and collaborating with international teams.
- Strong foundation in mechanical, electrical, or process engineering.
- Familiarity with similar industrial products and services is advantageous.
- Exceptional communication and presentation abilities.
- Strong analytical and problem‑solving skills.
- Ability to excel in a dynamic, international environment.
- Willingness to travel frequently within the U.S. and occasionally internationally.
- Fluent in English (both written and spoken); proficiency in German is a plus.
