Junior Electrical Engineer (Entry-Level; Engineering Degree req.) Description
Our client, a rapidly growing lighting manufacturer, is looking to add a new Jr. Electrical Engineer to their Team in Tinley Park, IL. You’ll support product development efforts while helping manage projects from start to finish. These projects move quickly, so you’ll typically oversee 5-10 at a time while verifying specifications, supporting product testing/certifications, and helping keep timelines on track.
If you’re looking for a role heavily focused on electrical design or fabrication, this would not be the right fit. However, if you want to grow your career in project engineering within a manufacturing environment, this could be a great opportunity. You’ll work with an Engineering Manager who values autonomy and doesn’t believe in heavy micromanagement. Although the team is smaller, the company has continued to see double-digit growth year over year, so there’s strong stability behind the business.
Whether you have post‑degree experience or are looking to launch your career, this is a great opportunity for someone who wants variety in their day and exposure to multiple areas of the business without sacrificing work/life balance
. Plus, with excellent benefits, Summer Fridays, and an easy‑going culture, this is the type of team people genuinely enjoy being a part of.
