* Job Summary:

** The Large Power Systems Division is seeking an Aftertreatment Performance Project Leader to join the Aftertreatment & Exhaust Systems (AT&ES) performance engineering team. In this role, you will serve as both a technical leader and an individual contributor—providing deep expertise in aftertreatment performance while guiding and coordinating the work of a cross‐functional engineering team. You will contribute to system architecture, evaluate and update performance‐critical aftertreatment components, and drive design improvements that reduce harmful diesel and gas engine emissions.

As part of the AT&ES organization, this role focuses on the selection, development, and performance optimization of aftertreatment systems across diverse applications, including locomotive, marine, and Cat machines. Responsibilities include assessing system and component options across dimensions such as cost, performance, reliability, and life, and leading strategic planning for future cost‐effective aftertreatment  addition, the Aftertreatment Performance Project Leader will oversee engineering documentation and drawing releases, ensuring accuracy, compliance, and timely incorporation of design changes.

You will coordinate the evaluation, validation, and release of performance‐related component updates, working closely with design, validation, calibration, manufacturing, and supplier teams to ensure robust system performance throughout the product lifecycle.
