Water​/Wastewater Engineer

Responsibilities

• Detailed design of new and rehabilitation improvements for water/wastewater treatment plants, pipelines, and pumping stations
• Complete conceptual and preliminary designs in Bluebeam and coordinate with AutoCAD/Revit platforms
• Review and plan water/wastewater infrastructure improvements and practice understanding of sustainable design elements as they relate to water and energy conservation and efficiency
• Collaborate with Baxter & Woodman Boller Design Build and sub-contractors to assemble pricing, develop proposals, and determine solutions
• Work with Boller Construction and other contractors directly on design-build projects
• Make decisions independently and take responsibility for project engineering solutions
• Communicate and coordinate efforts and ideas with Baxter & Woodman Boller Design Build, peers, and management team
• Participate in client and agency meetings to enhance knowledge exchange within the company and to develop relationships

• B.S. in Civil Engineering, environmental emphasis
• Ability to lead themselves through project design
• Excellent technical writing skills
• Strong written, verbal, computer, and organizational skills
• Ability to work in a team environment for both engineering design and contractors
