Civil​/Structural Engineer-Entry Level 1

As an entry-level Civil/Structural engineer, you will work with a team of engineers on client projects involving civil/structural design and analysis of modifications to the physical structures of nuclear power plants. You will apply academic knowledge of materials, structural analysis, steel design, and reinforced concrete to support diverse client projects.

• Work with cross‑functional engineering teams to support projects involving design, modification, and analysis of nuclear power plant structures.
• Prepare designs, calculations, specifications, and technical reports under mentorship of senior structural design engineers.
• Perform structural analysis and design of steel frames, connections, concrete members, equipment and piping supports, and foundations; conduct analyses for load conditions such as wind and seismic.
• Travel occasionally to client and plant site locations for design reviews, construction coordination and field verification of designs as required.

• Bachelor of Science degree in Civil/Structural Engineering or an associated field.
• 0‑2 years of related practical work experience.
• Strong foundational knowledge of mechanics, hydraulics, materials science, and statistical analysis.
• Familiarity with tools and principles involved in producing technical plans, fabrication drawings, and models.
• Experience with CAD software.
• Proficiency with Microsoft Office applications. Ability to work independently and as part of a team.
• Excellent written and verbal communication skills.
• Legal authorization to work permanently in the U.S. without the need for sponsorship now or in the future.

• Estimated Salary Range: $75,000 – $83,000 per year (based on experience and qualifications).
