Position Summary

The Senior Collateral Analyst is responsible for the administration and monitoring of the loan portfolio, including borrowing base analysis, collateral monitoring, loan servicing, funding requests, and borrower onboarding. The role works closely with Portfolio Management, Underwriting, Treasury, and Accounting to ensure accurate reporting, compliance, and portfolio administration.

Key Responsibilities
  • Review and process borrower borrowing base certificates, collateral reports, and supporting documentation.
  • Analyze collateral performance, identify ineligible assets, and ensure compliance with loan agreements.
  • Process loan advances, repayments, and other servicing transactions.
  • Monitor collateral, reporting requirements, covenant compliance, and portfolio ticklers.
  • Review and record borrower cash receipts and related activity within the loan administration system.
  • Maintain accurate loan, collateral, and borrower information within Solifi (Stucky).
  • Assist with onboarding new borrowers, loan closings, and post‑closing documentation requirements.
  • Coordinate with Portfolio Managers, Underwriters, Accounting, and borrowers to resolve reporting, funding, and servicing issues.
  • Support portfolio reviews, audits, field examinations, and other operational initiatives.
  • Assist with process improvements and system enhancements to improve portfolio administration and reporting.
Qualifications
  • 5‑8 years of experience in asset‑based lending, commercial finance, factoring, loan operations, portfolio administration, or a related lending environment.
  • Strong understanding of borrowing base lending, collateral analysis, and loan servicing processes.
  • Ability to independently analyze collateral trends, identify potential risks, and elevate issues appropriately.
  • Strong analytical, organizational, and problem‑solving skills with exceptional attention to detail.
  • Ability to manage multiple priorities and deadlines in a fast‑paced environment.
  • Strong written and verbal communication skills, including direct interaction with borrowers and internal stakeholders.
  • Advanced proficiency in Microsoft Excel and Microsoft Office.
  • Experience with Solifi (Stucky) preferred.
  • Experience with collateral field examinations, audits, or portfolio reviews preferred.
