Responsibilities
- Prepare annual business plans, financial forecasts, budgets, and support strategic planning and deployment processes
- Support efforts to achieve working capital targets and assist in resolving issues related to inventory, accounts receivable, and accounts payable
- Provide timely reporting of financial results and activities, including analysis of performance variances and trends
- Collect and report data on key operational variables and maintain accounting data necessary for cost allocation and cost of quality analysis
- Deliver financial analyses and business insight to support decision‑making and communicate the impact of decisions on risk, profitability, and cash flow
- Identify cost of quality issues related to products, processes, and quality systems and initiate actions to prevent nonconformities
- Recommend and support solutions and continuous improvements in product and process quality
- Assist in improving profitability through in‑depth operational analysis and identification of areas of weakness and opportunity
- Support corporate financial requirements including tax, audit, financial close, and reporting activities
- Ensure accounting and financial records are properly maintained and internal controls are operating effectively
- Provide finance and accounting support for Continuous Improvement initiatives
- Maintain standard cost systems and manufacturing rates
- Lead, mentor, and develop the finance team
- Follow Environmental, Quality, and Safety Management System procedures and requirements
- Bachelor’s degree in Accounting, Finance, or related field
- Eight or more years of financial experience
- Three or more years of supervisory experience
- Demonstrated leadership skills and ability to work effectively in a team environment
- Significant experience in cost accounting, financial forecasting, and capital investment decision‑making within a manufacturing environment
- Strong written and verbal communication skills with the ability to present effectively and exercise tact and discretion
- Strong internal and external customer focus
- Advanced analytical skills with the ability to gather and interpret data from multiple sources
- Ability to take initiative and work independently
- Proficiency with advanced Microsoft Office applications
- Willingness to travel as required
