PRINCIPLE DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES- Post medical insurance payments and patient payments correctly to accounts
- Identify payments, write offs, and patient balances on various insurance company EOBs
- Balance payment batches to deposits
- Ability to interpret various explanation of benefits from the insurance companies
- Efficiently and accurately post payments to the appropriate accounts
- Identify payment discrepancies and payer trends
- Investigate and process over payments
- Must have knowledge of 835 remittances posting
