Wellbeing Support Advisor

The Wellbeing Support Advisor plays a vital role in championing mental health and whole-person wellbeing across the Endeavor Health System. This position provides direct, confidential support to team members experiencing personal or work-related stressors and helps foster a culture of care, resilience, and psychological safety.

In partnership with the Wellbeing & Vitality leadership, the Advisor coordinates and delivers educational programming, mental health awareness campaigns, and staff wellness activities that promote emotional health, life-work harmony, and a sense of community. Through compassionate presence and strategic support, this role helps ensure Endeavor Health remains a workplace of choice-where employees are empowered to thrive personally and professionally.

    Monday-Friday, 8:00am-4:30pm

    Travel to other Endeavor Health locations will be required

What you will do:

  • Provide individual and group wellbeing support to team members and departments experiencing elevated stress that impacts individual or team performance.

  • Conduct regular presence-based rounding in assigned areas or where needs arise.

  • Assess and refer employees for personal or work-related concerns-including emotional, relational, financial, substance-related, or job-related stressors-to appropriate internal and external resources.

  • Offer support and consultation to leaders addressing sensitive employee wellbeing or emotional support issues within their teams.

  • Support the RISE (Resilience in Stressful Events) team by providing crisis intervention and coordinating critical incident debriefings with internal stakeholder groups.

  • Design and deliver wellbeing programs-including virtual and in-person workshops, lunch & learns, and interactive experiences-focused on practical skills for mental, emotional, and physical wellbeing.

  • Educate leaders and staff on trauma-informed care principles and safe approaches to managing challenging behaviors.

  • Collaborate with leadership to assess and respond to educational needs related to mental health, resilience, and suicide prevention.

  • Plan and promote employee wellness events in coordination with internal committees and external vendor partners.

  • Track, evaluate, and report on the outcomes and engagement metrics of wellbeing programs to guide continuous improvement.

  • Partner with internal committees and work groups that support employee wellbeing (e.g., Workplace Violence Prevention, Safety, DEI) to guide response and intervention efforts.

  • Collaborate with the Employee Assistance Program (EAP) to conduct follow-up sessions with team members, leaders, and provide consultation on complex employee situations.

  • Coordinate with Marketing and Communications to maintain up-to-date wellbeing and mental health resources on internal platforms for team members and their families.

  • Support the pursuit of organizational recognition programs (e.g., Bell Seal for Workplace Mental Health) by contributing to application content, data, and outcomes tracking.

What you will need:

  • Education:

    Master's or Doctoral degree in Nursing, Psychology, Social Work, Organizational Development, Public Health, or a related field.

  • Certification:
    Clinical Psychologist, Licensed Clinical Social Worker, Licensed Clinical Professional Counselor, Registered Clinical Nurse, or similar required

  • Experience:

    • Minimum of 5 years of progressive experience in clinical, leadership, and in the development and facilitation of wellness programming.

    • Demonstrated experience supporting healthcare teams through high-stress, trauma-informed, or emotionally charged situations.

    • Experience in facilitating team debriefs, critical incident support, or peer support programming.

    • Experience working in or with multidisciplinary teams and matrix organizations

  • Unique or Preferred

    Skills:

    • Strong interpersonal and communication skills with the ability to build trust and credibility across all levels of the organization.

    • Knowledge of current best practices in wellbeing, resilience, trauma-informed care, grief support, and burnout prevention.

    • Familiarity with Magnet Recognition Program, Bell Seal for Workplace Mental Health, or other credentialing standards.

    • Knowledge of developmental psychology, disease pathology and clinical needs of assigned population

    • Ability to work as part of a multidisciplinary team

    • Ability to effectively communicate with all levels within in the organization, including leadership

    • Ability to be self-directed and work independently
