Position Summary

We are seeking a dependable and flexible individual to fill a dual position as both a Patient Services Representative (PSR) and Medical Assistant (MA) in our Naperville office. This full‑time position requires working as a PSR on designated days and as a Medical Assistant on others, providing comprehensive support to both our patients and clinical team.

Duties & Responsibilities Patient Services Representative Duties (Mon/ Wed/ Thurs)
  • Greet patients
  • Check in patients and assist with individual concerns as they arise
  • Collect appropriate information including insurance overview, co‑pay and deductible assignment, and open balances
  • Perform administrative tasks and be cross‑trained on medical assistant responsibilities to provide support as needed
  • Other tasks as assigned
Medical Assistant Duties (Tues/ Fri)
  • Interview patients to gather medical history and update medical records
  • Gather basic vital signs, including temperature, blood pressure, height, weight and pulse
  • Prepare treatment rooms and patients for exam
  • Sterilize necessary instruments
  • Manage medical supplies and materials and work with area supervisor to order necessary inventory
  • Take appropriate x‑rays
Requirements
  • Minimum of 2 years in a healthcare position preferred
  • High school diploma or GED required
  • Excellent communication and organizational skills
  • Ability to multitask and adapt to changing daily responsibilities
  • Strong attention to detail and patient‑centered approach
  • Proficiency with EMR systems
  • Capability to adapt quickly and thrive in a fast‑paced environment
Schedule
  • Monday: 8:00 AM – 5:30 PM
  • Tuesday: 8:00 AM – 5:30 PM
  • Wednesday: 9:00 AM – 5:30 PM
  • Thursday: 8:00 AM – 5:30 PM
  • Friday: 8:00 AM – 5:30 PM
Travel
  • Local travel is required to locations within your assigned geographic region. You may be required to occasionally travel outside your assigned regional area to support other regional coverage needs of the organization. Must have reliable transportation and be able to travel as assigned.
