Fox Valley Institute (FVI) is an award-winning counseling practice dedicated to helping people reach their greatest potential. We are seeking a detail-oriented Medical Billing Specialist who is passionate about excellent client care and wants to make an immediate impact on a supportive, energetic team.
What You’ll Do:- Post and manage payments
- Submit and resubmit insurance claims
- Communicate with clients, providers, and insurance companies
- Handle collections and billing inquiries
- Maintain HIPAA compliance
- Provide light front-office support as needed
- 3+ years medical billing experience (doctor’s office or hospital)
- Strong understanding of insurance, billing, and medical terminology
- High attention to detail and strong data entry skills
- Proficiency in MS Office & Google Workspace
- Reliable, organized, and professional
- Behavioral health experience
- Therapy Notes EMR experience
