$24.86 - $37.29 - The hourly pay rate offered is determined by a candidate's expertise and years of experience, among other factors.
Position Highlights:
- Location:
Naperville, IL - Full time - 36 hours
- Hours:
Nights 7pm - 7am rotating holidays and rotating weekends
- The OB Technician performs both clerical and nursing care duties within the Family Birthing Center. The OB Technician provides assistance during births, scrubs for c-sections and minor surgeries, performs secretarial duties in the Birth Center and functions as a Nursing Assistant. Floats between all units within the Family Birthing Center. Functions under the supervision of the Registered Nurse.
- High School diploma or GED required
- Current BLS certification issued by American Heart Association
- Certificate from an accredited nursing assistant training course (CNA) or minimum six months of previous patient care experience or completion of one nursing clinical rotation required
- Excellent interpersonal skills including teamwork, ability to prioritize, ability to receive and follow through on directions
- Required to attend in depth orientation regarding patient care skill tasks
- Successful completion of the OB Technician's Scrub Class, offered by the OB department
