The Concierge is responsible for providing personalized guest services and enhancing the overall guest experience by anticipating needs and offering tailored recommendations inside the 7 th floor Concierge Lounge. This role requires expert knowledge of the hotel, local attractions, dining, entertainment, and transportation options. The Concierge serves as a trusted resource for guests, ensuring a seamless and memorable stay.
ESSENTIAL DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES- Greet and assist guests with warmth and professionalism.
- Set up all evening food including hot items, desserts, and beer & wine for display.
- Continually verify that all food and drink is replenished throughout your shift.
- Walk through the lounge multiple times a night to be sure tables bases and tops are clean.
- Assist guests with directions, maps, and travel arrangements.
- Coordinate delivery of guest packages, mail, market items and other services when asked by the Front Desk staff on the lobby level.
- Check all food items and be sure items are fresh and stocked at all times.
- Recognize all repeat guests and VIPs. Be able to recognize them and know about their special requests.
- Uphold hotel policies and brand standards while maintaining guest confidentiality and security.
- Have a true understanding of all hotel operations including hours, pricing, Marriott Bonvoy, and local information in order to speak to our guests with the utmost knowledge.
- High school diploma or GED required.
- Two years + customer service experience preferred.
- Must be able to verbally communicate clearly with guests and fellow employees.
- Must be able to stand for extended periods of time.
Due to the business demands of the hospitality industry, and the fact that the hotel provides guest services 24 hours a day, 7 days a week, 365 days a year- any employee may be required to work rotating shifts, including weekends, night shifts, and/or overtime. Also, depending on business demands, hours may be reduced at any time.
