Position SummaryThe Principal Recruiter is a senior individual contributor responsible for leading high-impact search engagements from strategy through placement. This role serves as a trusted talent advisor to clients and internal stakeholders, driving search execution, elevating candidate experience, and influencing hiring strategy. The Principal Recruiter operates with a high degree of autonomy, manages complex executive and professional-level searches, and consistently delivers strong placement outcomes.
WhatYou’ll Do
- Own and lead full-cycle executive and professional search engagements across multiple client accounts
- Develop and execute sophisticated sourcing strategies, including passive talent engagement and market mapping
- Partner closely with Account Management and Research to align on search strategy, client expectations, and competitive intelligence
- Conduct in-depth candidate assessments focused on technical capability, leadership competency, and cultural alignment
- Advise clients on talent market trends, compensation benchmarking, and hiring strategy
- Manage candidate experience end-to-end, including interview preparation, offer negotiation, and closing
- Deliver high-quality reporting and strategic search updates to internal leadership and clients
- Build and maintain long-term talent pipelines within key industry verticals
- Mentor junior recruiters and contribute to best practices, process improvement, and recruiting excellence initiatives
- Consistently exceed performance metrics related to revenue contribution, placements, and client satisfaction
- Bachelor’s degree required
- 5+ years of professional work experience required
- Demonstrated success managing complex, multi-stakeholder searches
- Robust organizational skills and the ability to multitask
- Strong communication skills with the ability connect effectively over remote platforms including phone and video
