Chief Technology Officer

We are a small, high-performing proprietary trading firm building cutting-edge trading systems across global markets. We’re seeking a hands-on CTO who has personally built and operated low-latency trading systems and understands the full lifecycle of systematic trading — from exchange connectivity to strategy deployment and real-time risk management.

This is a build-and-lead role for someone who thrives in a high-performance environment and wants meaningful ownership over the firm’s technology and trading infrastructure.

• Architect, build, and optimize ultra-low latency trading systems in production.
• Design and maintain exchange connectivity
  , including onboarding new venues and market data feeds.
• Partner closely with traders and researchers to translate strategies into scalable, production-ready systems.
• Own system reliability, performance, and security across all trading platforms.
• Lead and mentor a small, elite engineering team
  , setting technical standards and development practices.
• Drive infrastructure strategy
  , including hardware, colocation, networking, and cloud where appropriate.
• Continuously improve latency, throughput, and fault tolerance across the trading stack.

• Proven experience in proprietary trading or high-frequency trading (HFT) environments.
• Deep expertise in C++ and Python in production trading systems.
• Hands‑on experience building trading engines, OMS, EMS, and market data systems.
• Direct experience onboarding trading systems to exchanges (FIX, binary protocols, custom APIs).
• Strong understanding of:

  • Experience scaling systems from prototype to live trading.
