Technical Alignment Manager

We are seeking a highly motivated Technical Alignment Manager (TAM) to serve as a trusted advisor to our clients, ensuring alignment between IT best practices and strategic business goals. This role blends technical expertise, client relationship management, auditing, documentation governance, and cybersecurity collaboration to deliver a true “Gold Standard” customer experience.

As a Technical Alignment Manager, you will:

• Act as a key liaison between clients and internal teams
• Conduct bi-annual to annual IT Best Practice Reviews using auditing tools
• Assess client infrastructure using structured best practice frameworks (e.g., MyITProcess or similar tools)
• Maintain and validate critical documentation within IT Glue (or similar platforms)
• Present review findings and collaborate on roadmap planning and implementation
• Support Account Summary Reports (ASRs) including ticket analysis, project updates, and infrastructure checks
• Monitor client health metrics and ensure adherence to IT best practices
• Assist with onboarding/offboarding processes
• Support cybersecurity initiatives, including vendor questionnaires and governance documentation
• Develop training materials, IT security policies, and “How-To” documentation
• Coordinate small-to-medium infrastructure projects as needed
• Serve as a trusted advisor, keeping both clients and internal teams accountable

• Deliver technical audits and best practice assessments across the client base
• Contribute to IT roadmaps and budgetary planning discussions
• Maintain high-quality documentation standards
• Collaborate cross-functionally with Account Managers, Sales, and Technical Teams
• Provide regular client updates and strategic recommendations
• Support managed security stack monitoring (SOC, asset management, security awareness tools, etc.)
• Stay current on IT certifications, best practice trends, and evolving technologies

• Bachelor’s degree in Information Technology, Business Administration, or related field
• 3+ years of experience in Customer Success, Account Management, or similar client-facing IT roles
• Proven experience with IT infrastructure, best practice reviews, and client relationship management
• Strong understanding of IT systems, infrastructure, and operational standards
• Excellent communication skills with the ability to explain technical concepts to non-technical stakeholders
• Strong organizational, problem-solving, and decision-making abilities
• Experience with IT Glue, MyITProcess, or similar documentation/audit platforms preferred

• Experience working within a Managed Service Provider (MSP) environment
• Familiarity with cybersecurity practices, tools, and governance frameworks
• Knowledge of ITIL frameworks and IT compliance standards
• Certifications such as CompTIA A+, ITIL Foundation, or similar
• Experience developing training materials and documentation standards
• Advanced proficiency in documentation management systems
