IT Project Manager, Product Designer, Systems Analyst
Role Overview
We are seeking a highly structured, analytically minded Program Manager to lead Phase 1 of our Marketing Operations Transformation initiative. This role will orchestrate two parallel efforts:
- Martellus-led audit of the end-to-end Direct Mail workflow, including creative development, data orchestration, QA, and production.
- Internal scoping of three "no regrets" products — TETII, AIM, and POPP — in partnership with the Product Manager and the IT Product Owners who will ultimately build and maintain these products.
A critical nuance of this role:
The Program Manager does not design the products or define the technical architecture. Instead, they ensure tight coordination between the Product Manager, who defines the product vision and end‑state user‑facing functionality, and the IT Product Owners, who define the architecture, technical approach, build vs. buy decisions, and implementation plan. The Program Manager creates the structure, alignment, and operating rhythm that enables these groups to produce a complete, Phase 2‑ready blueprint.
- Build and maintain the integrated Phase 1 program plan, covering both Project 1 (Martellus audit) and Project 2 (product scoping).
- Establish weekly operating rhythms, decision forums, and cross‑functional checkpoints.
- Maintain a unified view of risks, dependencies, and blockers across all work streams.
- Ensure all teams deliver their Phase 1 commitments within the 6‑8 week window.
- Identify and confirm IT Product Owners for TETII, AIM, and POPP in partnership with EDP, Oracle, DSML, and SFMC leadership.
- Define clear roles, responsibilities, and expectations for each IT Product Owner.
- Ensure IT Product Owners have the structure, templates, and working sessions needed to produce Phase 2‑ready outputs.
- Support IT Product Owners as they:
Define system architecture and integration points;
Make build vs. buy recommendations;
Outline technical functionality and constraints;
Produce resource estimates, timelines, and dependencies.
- Ensure the Product Manager has the inputs, SMEs, and context needed to refine product requirements and scope.
- Coordinate the flow of information between the Product Manager and IT Product Owners to ensure business requirements translate into feasible technical plans.
- Maintain alignment between the Product Manager’s user‑facing vision and the IT Product Owners’ architectural and technical decisions.
- Ensure the Product Manager’s outputs are incorporated into the Phase 2 blueprint.
- Serve as the single point of coordination between internal teams and Martellus.
- Ensure Martellus receives timely access to process maps, artifacts, SMEs, and historical examples of errors/pain points.
- Track Martellus deliverables and ensure they integrate cleanly into the Phase 2 plan.
- Validate that recommendations align with internal systems reality and IT Product Owner plans.
The Program Manager will coordinate a cohesive, structured scoping effort across all three products. The common themes include:
- Coordinating with the output of Project 1 to build a unified product vision and user‑facing functionality.
- Defining the technical architecture, integration points, and build vs. buy decisions (led by IT Product Owners).
- Documenting MVP functionality, data flows, dependencies, and sequencing across systems such as Oracle, Snowflake, DSML, SFMC, and Workfront.
- Ensuring cross‑functional alignment among Marketing Ops, Analytics, Creative Ops, Legal, Pricing, Call Center, and Partner teams.
- Reconciling business needs with technical feasibility, surfacing tradeoffs, and ensuring decisions are captured in the Phase 2 blueprint.
- Driving consistency in how requirements, technical plans, and assumptions are documented across all agreed‑upon products.
- Coordinate inputs from DSML, EDP, Oracle, SFMC, Creative Ops, Legal, Pricing, and Partner teams.
- Ensure all teams understand their Phase 1 responsibilities (5‑10 hrs/week).
- Translate technical discussions into clear, executive‑ready summaries.
- Produce a Phase 2 Blueprint that consolidates: the final product vision and road…
