As the Senior Analyst, you will play a critical role in turning data into actionable insights to guide strategic decision‑making. This position involves working closely with business stakeholders to define requirements, develop dashboards, create reports, and ensure the accuracy and integrity of the data being analyzed.
Primary Responsibilities- Translate business requirements into actionable technical specifications, executable using business intelligence tools, and establish achievable timelines.
- Design and execute data transformations, including reformatting and reshaping data to support data models, analysis, and visualization needs.
- Identify, address, and communicate data quality and reconciliation issues.
- Apply expertise in data model optimization and relational structures (e.g., star schema).
- Develop intuitive, professional dashboards that are visually appealing and user‑friendly.
- Leverage advanced SQL proficiency to explore and transform data for modeling and ad hoc reporting needs.
- Collaborate with users and team members at all levels to provide guidance, training, and support.
- Create comprehensive user training materials and lead webinar sessions for users and key stakeholders.
- Provide support throughout all phases of the project lifecycle.
- Stay informed on emerging trends and best practices in design and development.
- Experience with business intelligence tools such as Power BI, Tableau, or Qlik
- Must have experience in creating data‑rich dashboards, writing DAX expressions, and implementing row‑level security.
- High competency in SQL & DAX.
- UX (user experience) and UI (user interface) Designer.
- SSRS report building skills preferred.
- Competency in R or Python preferred.
- Proficiency in MS Office Suite
- Proficiency in MS Excel in data manipulation, including pivot tables, vlookup functions, VBA
- Analytical mindset with the ability to interpret complex data and provide clear, actionable insights.
- Possess a sense of urgency and attention to accuracy and detail.
- Self‑motivated, eager to learn and focused on continuous improvement
- Excellent communication skills, with the ability to communicate complex data findings clearly and effectively to non‑technical stakeholders.
- Strong collaboration skills and the ability to work across multiple departments.
- Highly credible, collaborative, and resourceful style with the ability to work independently and as a team player.
- Capable of managing multiple tasks/projects simultaneously, and ability to prioritize projects
- Ability to travel for team meetings and off‑site collaboration sessions as needed.
- Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Data Analytics, Information Systems, or related field
- 5+ of relevant work experience
- 2-5 years of experience using BI tools such as Power BI, Tableau or Qlik (Power BI Preferred)
