Servicenow Platform Manager
Primary
Location:
Naperville, Illinois.
- Own and maintain the multi‑year Service Now platform strategy and roadmap, aligned to business priorities and Service Now’s release cadence.
- Evaluate new Service Now products, modules, and capabilities (e.g., ITSM, ITOM, ITAM, HRSD, CSM, Sec Ops, GRC, App Engine, AI) and make/build/buy/defer recommendations.
- Define and enforce platform principles: configure over customize, out‑of‑the‑box first, and reuse before rebuild.
- Experience with the Service Now Common Service Data Model (CSDM).
- Experience managing Service Now licensing and vendor/partner relationships.
- Experience in a regulated or enterprise environment with formal change and audit controls.
- Evaluate new Service Now products, modules, and capabilities (e.g., ITSM, ITOM, ITAM, HRSD, CSM, Sec Ops, GRC, App Engine, AI) and make/build/buy/defer recommendations.
- Define and enforce platform principles: configure over customize, out‑of‑the‑box first, and reuse before rebuild.
- Ensure process, data, and architecture readiness for AI (Now Assist) to enable an agentic, future‑state operating model.
- Establish and chair the platform governance board (or technical governance board), setting the policies that control what is built and by whom.
- Define and enforce development, naming, scoping, and architecture standards across all instances that maximize use of out‑of‑box capability, minimize custom code and ensure minimal effort for upgrades.
