What You'll do
We are looking for an experienced Senior Appian Developer Consultant to provide integrated architecture support for delivery teams and act as a trusted advisor to clients. The consultant will help scale the business by providing expert guidance on solution delivery and designing and integrating cutting‑edge Appian solutions into clients’ architecture. Architects will mentor delivery teams on best practices for advanced technical solutions and platform design and implement internal processes and tools to improve business efficiencies.
Key Responsibilities- Lead implementation teams through complex technical solutions with Appian and related technologies
- Support design, development, and testing activities
- Guide clients on architecture design, configuration management, Dev Sec Ops , and other program initiatives to drive technical success
- Ensure solutions are built for scale and performance
- Create and document implementation best practices and knowledge‑base articles for internal enablement
- Provide thought leadership on process improvement
- Support internal solutions, infrastructure, and tools
- Mentor, train, and enable resources
- 3+ years of experience with Appian solutions
- 5+ years of related IT experience
- Bachelor’s Degree (or equivalent) in Computer Science, Information Systems, Systems Engineering, or related area
- Active Appian Senior or Lead Certification
- Strong experience delivering Appian solutions using an Agile methodology
- Strong technical design, implementation, and problem‑solving skills
- Strong communication skills and ability to convey complex concepts in an easy‑to‑understand manner, both verbally and written; active listening skills to gather key information from partners; analytical and strategic foresight
- Strong organizational skills, attention to detail, ability to work in a high‑paced environment, multi‑task (prioritize and manage), and work both independently and as a team; team‑building skills including courtesy, professionalism, and a “do whatever it takes” attitude
- Active Secret security clearance required
- Willingness to travel 0–15% for client meetings as needed

- Web services, integrations, and middleware (RESTful/SOAP, Mule/IIB/Fusion)
- Cloud computing/IaaS (AWS, Azure, Google Cloud)
- Authentication (SAML, Kerberos, OAuth, LDAP)
- Data management and data visualization/BI
- Dev Sec Ops and/or configuration management
- Machine learning, artificial intelligence
