Solutions Architect

Job Overview

Solutions Architect – Responsible for designing, deploying, and maintaining secure networks for the Department of Defense.

• Collaborate with DoD experts and stakeholders to assess strategic goals and operational needs that shape network and security requirements.
• Lead planning of acquisition, installation, configuration, and maintenance for network, cloud, and security components.
• Resolve interoperability issues across platforms and support hardware acquisition.
• Automate networking systems, modernize existing solutions, leverage cloud technologies, and broaden the scope of network engineering work.
• Guide senior leaders (CISO, CIO, CTO) in developing cybersecurity capability maturation.

• HS diploma or GED with at least 4 years of experience selecting, designing, and implementing security tools for large, complex federal or commercial organizations.
• Experience with software inventory, vulnerability scanning, Dev Sec Ops  pipeline, Continuous ATO, and vendor risk management.
• Architected Zero Trust solutions aligned with NIST 800‑207 and DoD Zero Trust Reference Architecture.
• Current Secret clearance (subject to security investigation).

• Experience building a unified view of software risk through automation and provenance.
• Leadership experience in cybersecurity compliance, operations, or engineering.
• Knowledge of advanced cybersecurity capabilities (A&O, AI/ML, NGFW, Big Data).
• Experience with AWS, Azure, or GCP, eMASS, and DoW 8140 requirements.
