Unified Endpoint Management Engineer, Senior

Serve as a cybersecurity engineer responsible for designing, deploying, and maintaining a distributed security architecture in support of critical missions. Develop, implement, and integrate enterprise cybersecurity operations center, and endpoint security solutions in alignment with best practices and mission objectives.

• Design, deploy, and maintain distributed security architecture.
• Implement and integrate enterprise, cybersecurity operations center, and endpoint security solutions.
• Manage research of technology and market trends to further develop security solutions.
• Assess security threats and implement infrastructure controls using Endpoint Detection and Response (EDR) tools such as Trellix EDR or HBSS, Nessus, Fire Power, Fire Eye, Palo Alto Firewall, and other systems.
• Manage infrastructure and cybersecurity controls, including enhanced detection and vulnerability capabilities and improved event correlation in large enterprises.
• Lead risk and vulnerability assessments in network, system, and application areas, leveraging big data analytics and traditional security event types to identify advanced threats or indicators of compromise.
• Support Microsoft Intune or Microsoft Defender, or modern endpoint management solutions.
• Migrate devices and users from MECM or SCCM and Active Directory environments to Azure AD joined and Intune-managed environments.
• Create and manage endpoint management policies, including compliance, configuration profiles, application deployment, and security baselines.
• Package, deploy, and maintain applications in Microsoft Intune with a focus on automation and user experience to enforce Defender policies.
• Write and troubleshoot Power Shell scripts to automate endpoint management and operational processes.
• Communicate and manage stakeholders to gather requirements, provide updates, and solve complex issues.

• Experience supporting Microsoft Intune or Microsoft Defender, or modern endpoint management solutions.
• Experience migrating devices and users from MECM or SCCM and Active Directory environments to Azure AD joined and Intune-managed environments.
• Experience creating and managing endpoint management policies, including compliance, configuration profiles, application deployment, and security baselines.
• Experience packaging, deploying, and maintaining applications in Microsoft Intune with a focus on automation and user experience.
• Experience writing and troubleshooting Power Shell scripts to automate endpoint management and operational processes.
• Ability to communicate and manage stakeholders to gather requirements, provide updates, and solve complex issues.
• Secret clearance.
• HS diploma or GED.

• Experience integrating Intune with Microsoft 365 security services, including Defender for Endpoint and Conditional Access.
• Experience designing scalable, cloud-native endpoint management architectures in enterprise environments.
• Experience maintaining standardized Windows deployment images and supporting hybrid imaging strategies.
• Experience working in Agile enterprise IT environments using Jira and Confluence.
• Knowledge of modernizing Group Policy Objects (GPOs) into Intune-based configurations and managing SCCM/Intune coexistence.
• Knowledge of SIEM and SOC workflows for endpoint monitoring, incident response, and security event management.
• Knowledge of endpoint compliance frameworks, encryption technologies, and enterprise security best practices.
• Completion of DoD 8140 training.

The projected compensation range for this position is $99,000.00 to $ (annualized USD).
