SailPoint Engineer, Senior
Overview: Safeguarding the perimeter of organizations in an increasingly digital world is a key part of this role. As a SailPoint Engineer you will manage large‑scale IAM initiatives, design identity lifecycle solutions, and help clients maintain Zero Trust.
Responsibilities- Support and deliver identity and access management projects for clients.
- Interface with stakeholders and engineering teams to identify process requirements and dependencies for critical roles.
- Analyze identity lifecycle and articulate access requirements for enterprise identity records.
- Design, deploy, and support systems that verify user privileges and manage credentials, from single sign‑on to privileged access.
- Implement enterprise‑class IAM solutions and reduce adversary risk.
- Provide technical guidance and mentorship to junior engineers and analysts.
- Experience with identity governance platforms such as SailPoint, Ping, or Virtru, including identity lifecycle management, access certification, entitlement management, and file access governance.
- Implemented identity lifecycle processes (provisioning, de‑provisioning, access reviews, certification) and developed workflows for joiner, mover, and leaver scenarios.
- Java development for customizing IIQ workflows, rules, and connectors.
- Integration of SailPoint IIQ with Service Now, Workday, SAP, Oracle, AWS, or Azure.
- Experience across multi‑tenant and multi‑classification environments.
- LDAP, Active Directory, and Azure AD integration with identity systems.
- High School diploma or GED required;
Bachelor's degree preferred. - Secret clearance required (or eligibility for a security investigation).
- Experience with additional IAM platforms, such as Microsoft Azure AD, Cyber Ark, Beyond Trust, Oracle Identity Management, or CA Identity Management.
- Knowledge of enterprise directory architectures and emerging authentication, authorization, and privilege access management technologies.
- Familiarity with NIST
800‑63 access control frameworks and various protocols. - Leadership or coaching experience with technical staff.
- Completion of DoW
8140 requirements.
