Clinical Systems Analyst
OverviewClinical Systems Analyst develops, designs and supports clinical applications, solutions, and processes to meet the operational and clinical application needs of the organization. They ensure effective system operations by providing end‑user support and advanced application training and communication. The analyst evaluates, redesigns, and standardizes systems workflows and processes to achieve departmental and organizational goals and clinical success measures. This position requires advanced broad‑based knowledge of clinical professional practice and theory, and the ability to act as a change agent in problem‑solving across disciplines.
Experience in Laboratory and/or Quality is preferred.

Hours:
Full time, 40 hours per week
Pay based on experience, starting at $63,564.80 per year.
Responsibilities- Actively participates in the on‑call rotation cycle, including 24‑hour availability and general knowledge of most systems.
- Adheres to departmental procedures and standard work processes.
- Administers needed changes to procedure manuals and documentation.
- Analyzes existing information system processes and procedures, evaluating functionality and workflows, and identifying gaps, risks, and improvement opportunities.
- Assists in training end users and other analysts as required.
- Assists the Director of Business Information Systems in planning and managing functional areas and related modules/systems.
- Assists in assessing the progress and status of projects, vendors, and user support.
- Effectively interacts with customers, end users, core teams, management, and vendors while coordinating tasks and resolving problems and system issues.
- Maintains high‑level knowledge of assigned systems, applications, modules, and supported workflows.
- Provides ongoing support for assigned systems and functional areas, including testing, deployment, performance monitoring, maintenance, issue resolution, upgrade, and lifecycle management.
- Serves as project manager or resource for assigned systems or process improvement projects.
- Collaborates with other Information Systems staff and serves as a technical project resource as assigned.
- Associate’s Degree (required)
- High School Diploma (required)
- Experience in Laboratory and/or Quality is preferred.
- Valid Licensed Practical Nurse (LPN) certification in Illinois is beneficial.
