LHH is currently recruiting on behalf of a nationally recognized and highly respected law firm seeking an experienced eDiscovery professional to join its Litigation Support function. This position will serve as a key resource to legal teams, providing hands‑on support and guidance across complex eDiscovery matters.
The ideal candidate will bring 5+ years of eDiscovery experience
, with strong Relativity One expertise and a solid understanding of defensible practices throughout the EDRM. This is a role for someone who can operate independently, manage multiple priorities, and communicate effectively with attorneys, clients, technical teams, and outside vendors.
- Act as a key resource to case teams on eDiscovery matters, advising on workflow design, recommended practices, and defensibility considerations from initial data handling through final disposition.
- Build and administer Relativity work spaces based on the requirements of individual matters, including configuration of security, fields, layouts, views, and other workflow functionality.
- Help develop and implement strategies for reducing and efficiently reviewing data through methods such as deduplication, targeted searching, filtering, analytics, and technology-assisted review.
- Partner with Litigation Support colleagues to coordinate processing, ingestion, review preparation, and production activities and ensure deliverables remain on schedule.
- Maintain visibility into matter activity and milestones, providing regular updates while recognizing potential obstacles and escalating concerns when appropriate.
- Keep thorough records of project activity, requests, data movement, and production‑related deliverables in accordance with established departmental procedures.
- Manage relationships and day‑to‑day coordination with outside service providers supporting activities such as data collection, scanning, OCR, and trial‑related services, ensuring work meets applicable firm requirements.
- Oversee the Relativity environment for operational or technical problems and work with internal resources to investigate and resolve issues.
- Serve as a resource for attorneys, paralegals, and clients using Relativity and related applications, providing practical instruction and making technical processes accessible to non‑technical users.
- Participate in the assessment and implementation of evolving eDiscovery technologies, workflows, analytics, and AI‑enabled capabilities.
- Work alongside eDiscovery Engineers on processing, loading, exports, productions, and other technical matter activities as business needs require.
- Develop and update internal reference materials covering workflows, troubleshooting, issue resolution, and other processes that promote consistency, knowledge transfer, and defensible practices.
- Support the Director of Litigation Support with departmental projects and operational initiatives, including technology assessments, process enhancements, and other strategic or administrative priorities.
- Take on additional responsibilities and projects as assigned.
- 5+ years of professional experience supporting eDiscovery workflows within a law firm, legal services provider, corporate legal department, or comparable environment.
- Advanced working knowledge of Relativity One
, including workspace configuration and administration, review workflows, and production functionality. - Solid knowledge of defensible eDiscovery methodology and the various stages of the EDRM.
- Practical experience applying data culling, analytics, and technology‑assisted review techniques; exposure to AI‑supported review platforms is advantageous.
- Strong ability to explain technical processes and recommendations in clear, business‑oriented terms to attorneys, clients, and other non‑technical stakeholders.
- Highly organized and capable of balancing multiple active matters, competing priorities, and time‑sensitive deliverables.
- Demonstrated ability to take ownership of assignments independently while working effectively with attorneys, technical specialists, vendors, and other cross‑functional partners.
