The Ocean Export Coordinator is a full-time, on-site role based in Naperville, IL. This position is responsible for coordinating day-to-day ocean export operations, including preparing and reviewing export documentation, booking cargo with carriers, and ensuring timely and accurate shipment execution. The role involves communicating with customers, carriers, and overseas agents to provide shipment updates, resolve issues, and maintain high service standards.

The coordinator will verify compliance with export regulations, monitor schedules and cut-off times, and enter shipment details into internal systems. Daily tasks also include responding to customer inquiries, managing files, and collaborating with internal teams to support smooth end-to-end export processes.

• Strong export documentation skills, including preparation, review, and compliance for ocean export shipments.
• Knowledge of ocean export processes and terminology, with experience in international logistics or freight forwarding.
• Effective communication skills for coordinating with customers, carriers, and overseas partners.
• Customer service skills focused on responsiveness, problem-solving, and maintaining professional relationships.
• Attention to detail, organizational skills, and ability to manage multiple shipments and deadlines.
• Proficiency with MS Office and logistics or transportation management systems.
• Ability to work on-site in Naperville, IL, in a fast-paced environment and collaborate with cross-functional teams.
• Prior experience in ocean export coordination or related shipping roles preferred; relevant education in logistics, supply chain, or business is a plus.
