Solid experience in managing and shipping large or heavy items (e.g., furniture, heavy freight) is a significant asset.
Tasks- Oversee transportation and warehousing operations, including route planning, fleet management, and team coordination.
- Ensure operations comply with contractual terms and quality standards.
- Optimize the use of routing and ERP systems (Net Suite or equivalent).
- Work closely with executive management to implement operational strategies.
- Maintain a high level of performance and customer service.
- Contribute to budget development and adherence.
- Support and guide supervisors in their staffing and equipment needs.
- Perform any other related tasks.
