Production Mixer - Food Manufacturing

Job Description

We are seeking two dependable Production Mixers to join our food manufacturing team. This position is responsible for accurately preparing product batches by following detailed production instructions, verifying ingredients, and completing required production documentation. Most mixing is performed by hand, making attention to detail and accuracy essential.

• Follow production orders and mixing instructions precisely.
• Verify that the correct ingredients and packaging materials are used for each batch.
• Confirm item numbers, ingredient names, and quantities before adding materials to a mix.
• Record required production information, including ingredient lot numbers, production dates, finished product lot numbers, and other batch documentation.
• Hand mix products according to established procedures while maintaining product quality and consistency.
• Pick and stage ingredients and materials for production as needed.
• Maintain accurate records to ensure full product traceability.
• Keep work areas, equipment, and utensils clean and sanitary.
• Follow all Good Manufacturing Practices (GMPs), food safety, SQF, HACCP, and company safety procedures.
• Work closely with the warehouse, quality, and production teams to meet daily production goals.

• Manufacturing experience preferred; food manufacturing experience is a plus.
• Ability to accurately follow written instructions and production orders.
• Strong attention to detail with a commitment to quality and food safety.
• Comfortable completing production paperwork and maintaining accurate records.
• Ability to lift up to 50 pounds and stand for extended periods.
• Dependable with excellent attendance and a positive attitude.
• Ability to work independently and as part of a team.
• Bilingual (English/Spanish) is a plus but not required.
• Forklift experience is a plus but not required.
