This is not repetitive line work. Every build is custom-engineered, which means you will be reading schematics, solving real problems and growing a skill set in switch gear, circuit breakers, transformers and control systems that is in high demand across the industry.

Most assembly roles ask you to repeat the same task all day. This one puts you on custom-engineered gear where attention to detail and problem-solving are what set you apart. You will work shoulder to shoulder with engineers and supervisors, and your suggestions for process improvement go straight to the people who can act on them. You will also build medium voltage experience that strengthens your career for the long term.

• Assembling and wiring low and medium voltage power distribution components such as switches, switch gear, circuit breakers and bus bars to specification
• Turning electrical schematics, blueprints and technical drawings into accurate, finished assemblies
• Installing control wiring, grounding, relays, sensors and other critical elements
• Testing completed gear and ensuring every assembly meets quality standards
• Diagnosing and resolving wiring or component issues, and replacing or repairing faulty parts
• Partnering with engineering and manufacturing teams to solve complex assembly challenges
• Keeping work orders, test records and inventory tracking accurate and complete
• Contributing ideas that improve quality and efficiency on the production floor

• High school diploma or GED
• Ability to read and interpret electrical schematics, diagrams and blueprints
• Strong attention to detail, manual dexterity and problem-solving skills
• Comfort working independently and as part of a team in a production environment
• Ability to lift up to 50 pounds and handle prolonged standing, bending and kneeling
• A strong commitment to workplace safety and proper PPE use
• Technical certification or an associate's degree in an electrical or mechanical field is preferred
• Experience assembling or wiring electrical components, especially medium voltage, is a plus
• Familiarity with multimeters, oscilloscopes and power testing equipment is preferred
• Ability to supply your own personal tools is a plus

$23 - $27 per hour
