RN Weekender - Cardiac Neuro ICU

Position Details

Hourly Pay Range: $36.00 - $55.80 (determined by expertise and experience). Sign‑on bonus: $10,000 for RNs with 5+ years of critical care experience, paid in two installments ($5,000 at 3 months and $5,000 at 12 months).

RN Weekender - Cardiac Neuro ICU.

Location:

Edward Main Hospital. Full‑time: 36 hours per week.

Hours:

7:00 AM – 7:30 PM.

• Provide professional nursing care in accordance with the Illinois Professional Registered Nurse Practice Act and hospital policies.
• Use critical thinking to assess patients’ condition, recognize changes, plan and evaluate care.
• Monitor patients’ progress and record pertinent observations.
• Delegate appropriate patient care tasks to other staff.
• Function as a team member to fulfill unit goals.

• Bachelor’s Degree or higher in Nursing.
• 5 years of RN critical care experience.
• If holding an Associate Degree in Nursing, must graduate with a Bachelor’s Degree in Nursing within five years of starting the position.
• Current State of Illinois Registered Nurse licensure.
• Current CPR Certification issued by the American Heart Association.
• Advanced Cardiovascular Life Support (ACLS) certification within six months of start date.
