Hourly Pay Range

$36.00 - $55.80 per hour. Rate determined by expertise, experience, and other factors.

Registered Nurse - Surgery/OR

Edward Hospital, Naperville, IL

Full Time, 36 hours/week

Monday‑Friday, 6:30 am to 7:00 pm, rotating evenings, overnights, weekends, and holidays on call.

Renders professional nursing care to provide quality patient care. Employs critical thinking skills to assess patients’ condition, recognize deviations, plan and evaluate care, monitor patients’ progress, and record pertinent observations. Delegates appropriate patient care tasks to other staff. Functions as a team member to fulfill unit goals. Duties may vary by assigned unit or shift.

• Current State of Illinois Registered Nurse licensure
• Current CPR Certification (BLS) issued by American Heart Association
• Associate degree in nursing or higher level nursing degree (BSN required within 5 years from start date)
• Advanced Cardiovascular Life Support (ACLS) within ninety days of start date
• Pediatric Life Support (PALS) within ninety days of start date
• Preferred:
  Baccalaureate Degree or higher in Nursing
• Previous OR/Surgery experience
