Hourly Pay Range: $36.00 - $55.80 (based on expertise and experience). Registered Nurse

• Position: RN – Emergency Department
• Location:
  
  Edward Hospital
• Full-Time: 36 hours/week
• Hours:
  
  Night shift 7:00 p.m.
  
  - 7:30 a.m. (every third weekend and rotating holidays)
• Bonus: $20,000 for minimum 2 years ED experience
• Final date to receive applications:
  Must be hired after 6/15/2026 and accept offer by 7/31/2026

• Education:
  
  Bachelor’s Degree in Nursing or higher. If holding an associate degree, must obtain a bachelor’s degree within five years of start date.
• License:
  Current State of Illinois Registered Nurse licensure.

• Current CPR Certification (American Heart Association or American Red Cross)
• Advanced Cardiovascular Life Support (ACLS) within three months of start date
• Pediatric Life Support (PALS) within three months of start date
• Stroke Scale Certification (NIHSS) within three months of start date

• Provide professional nursing care in accordance with the Illinois Professional Registered Nurse Practice Act and hospital policies.
• Employ critical thinking to assess patients, recognize changes, plan & evaluate care, and monitor progress.
• Record pertinent observations accurately.
• Delegate appropriate patient care tasks to other staff.
• Act as a team member to fulfill unit goals.
