Position Highlights
Hourly Pay Range: $36.00 - $55.80 per hour. Position:
Registered Nurse – Emergency Department Weekender.
Location:
Edward Hospital, Naperville, IL. Full‑time: 36 hours/week on weekends.
Hours:
Day shift (9:00am‑7:00pm / 9:00am‑3:00pm) with holidays.
- Education: Associate Degree in Nursing; if this is your highest degree, must obtain a Bachelor’s Degree in Nursing within five years of starting this position.
- Experience: Minimum 1 year of experience in an emergency department unit.
- Licensure & Certification:
- Current State of Illinois Registered Nurse (RN) licensure.
- Current CPR certification (American Heart Association or American Red Cross).
- Advanced Cardiovascular Life Support (ACLS) within three months of start date.
- Pediatric Advanced Life Support (PALS) within three months of start date.
- Stroke Scale Certification (NIHSS) within three months of start date.
- Provide professional nursing care in accordance with the Illinois Professional Registered Nurse Practice Act and hospital policies and procedures.
- Employ critical thinking skills to assess patient condition, recognize changes, plan and evaluate care, monitor progress, and record observations.
- Delegate appropriate patient‑care tasks to other staff members.
- Function as a team member to fulfill unit goals.
- Duties may vary by assigned unit or shift.
