- Prevent healthcare‑associated infections for the facility.
- Monitor and guide nursing staff in infection prevention methods.
- Apply principles of infection prevention in developing educational and training programs.
- Train and test nursing staff.
- Participate in individual patient care plan development with allied health team members.
- Infection prevention experience.
- Experience in nursing management.
- Valid, current Registered Nurse license in the state of Illinois.
- No abuse records.
- Preferred: one year experience as a wound‑care nurse and/or infection prevention.
Compensation: $70,000–$72,000 yearly salary
* Bonus paid at 90 and 180 days of employment
