Overview
The Registered Nurse (RN) assumes responsibilities for the direct nursing care of assigned patients in patient care departments. Provides nursing services to patients and families in accordance with the RN scope of practice as defined by the Illinois Board of Nursing. As a Rehabilitation Nurse at Carle Health, you will play a vital role in helping patients regain their independence and confidence.
You will work closely with a multidisciplinary team to provide expert care that emphasizes physical, psychological, and emotional well‑being.
- Licensed Registered Professional Nurse (RN) – Illinois Department of Financial and Professional Regulation (IDFPR)
- Basic Life Support (BLS) certification within 30 days of hire – American Heart Association (AHA)
- College Diploma in Nursing
- Collaborate with providers, therapists, and other healthcare professionals to develop individualized care plans.
- Administer medications, manage vital signs, and provide hands‑on nursing care.
- Educate patients and families about ongoing care, self‑management techniques, and support resources.
- Act as an advocate for patients, focusing on holistic recovery and personalized care.
- Maintain detailed patient records, ensuring compliance with all regulatory standards.
- Participate in continuing education and professional development opportunities.
The compensation range for this position is $33.32 per hour – $57.31 per hour. This represents a good‑faith minimum and maximum range for the role at the time of posting by Carle Health. The actual compensation offered to a candidate will depend on a variety of factors including, but not limited to, the candidate’s experience, qualifications, location, training, licenses, and shifts worked.
