Hourly Pay Range: $36.00 - $55.80 (depending on expertise and experience).

Registered Nurse – Emergency Department – Night

• Position: RN – Emergency Department

  Edward Hospital
• Full‑Time: 36 hours/week
• Hours:
  
  Night 7:00 m‑7:30 a.m., rotating every third weekend and holidays
• Bonus: $20 000 for at least 2 years ED experience (must be hired after 6/15/2026 and accept offer by 7/31/2026)

• Education:
  
  Bachelor’s Degree in Nursing or higher; if holding only an associate degree, must earn a bachelor’s degree within five years of position start.
• License:
  Current State of Illinois Registered Nurse licensure.
• Certification:
  Current CPR certification;
  Advanced Cardiovascular Life Support (ACLS), Pediatric Advanced Life Support (PALS), and Stroke Scale (NIHSS) within three months of start date.

Provides professional nursing care in accordance with the Illinois Professional Registered Nurse Practice Act and hospital policies. Uses critical thinking to assess patients’ conditions, recognize changes, plan and evaluate care, monitor progress, and document observations. Delegates tasks to other staff and functions as a team member to meet unit goals.
