What You Will Do

The Quality Line Inspector is responsible for ensuring that fiber optic connector terminations and assemblies meet defined quality, optical, and workmanship requirements. This role performs in‑process and final inspections, verifies compliance to specifications, and supports continuous improvement by identifying defects and preventing escapes to customers.

Inspection & Quality Control
  • Perform in‑process and final inspection of fiber optic connector terminations (e.g., LC, SC, MPO/MTP, MMC).

  • Inspect fiber end‑faces using fiber optic inspection microscopes per IEC/TIA standards.

  • Verify connector geometry, polish quality, cleanliness, and workmanship.

  • Measure and validate optical performance including Insertion Loss (IL) and Return Loss (RL)

  • Ensure compliance with drawings, work instructions, control plans, and customer specifications.

Process Monitoring
  • Conduct line audits and monitor manufacturing processes for compliance.

  • Identify trends, defects, and process deviations.

  • Initiate containment actions when nonconforming material is detected.

  • Support first article inspections (FAI) and new product introductions (NPI).

Documentation & Reporting
  • Accurately record inspection results, test data, and nonconformances.

  • Complete inspection checklists, travelers, and quality records.

  • Support root cause analysis by providing defect data and observations.

  • Ensure traceability of inspected products per quality system requirements.

Collaboration & Improvement
  • Work closely with Manufacturing, Engineering, and Quality teams.

  • Provide feedback to operators on quality issues and workmanship standards.

  • Support corrective and preventive action (CAPA) activities.

  • Assist during internal, customer, and third‑party audits as required.

What You Will Bring
  • Associate degree in Engineering Technology or a 2‑year Diploma in Electrical/Electronic/Mechanical/Optical etc., or

  • Candidates with non‑technical Diploma or Associate degree can be considered if they have right experience & attitude to learn.

  • Preferably 5+ years of industrial experience in manufacturing environment.

  • Must be willing to travel.
