This full‑time, on‑site role leads frontline quality assurance operations, supervising inspectors and technicians, driving ISO 9001 compliance, supporting audits and CAPA, overseeing calibration and documentation, and serving as the on‑the‑floor quality point of contact. Ideal for a quality leader from a precision machining environment who enjoys coaching teams, using Zeiss CMMs, and improving processes.

- Supervise daily activities and performance of quality technicians and inspectors
- Ensure compliance with ISO 9001, customer‑specific, and internal quality standards
- Train and coach inspection staff on methods, GD&T interpretation, and equipment use
- Support customer and third‑party audits; manage non‑conformance tracking and CAPA
- Oversee calibration processes and maintain/coordinate inspection documentation
- Serve as the quality point of contact on the shop floor for operators and leadership
- Collaborate cross‑functionally to resolve quality issues and improve processes
- Utilize Zeiss CMMs and related metrology tools to verify product conformance
- Proven ability to perform the job as described, leading by example on the shop floor
- Bachelor of Science degree preferred or equivalent relevant experience
- Experience supervising quality teams in a CNC precision machining environment
- Hands‑on experience with Zeiss coordinate measuring machines (CMMs)
- Working knowledge of ISO 9001 quality systems, PPAPs, and GD&T
- Strong interpersonal, coaching, and team development skills
- Detail‑oriented mindset with a passion for operational excellence
- Ability to support audits, manage non‑conformances, and drive CAPA activities
- Experience overseeing calibration programs and inspection documentation
