THE ROLE
The Store Manager will lead the opening and ongoing success of our new boutique in Plaza del Lago, acting as both a business owner and brand ambassador within the local community. This role is responsible for delivering an exceptional client experience, developing a loyal clientele, and leading a small, high-performing team in an intimate retail environment.
Primary Responsibilities:
- Lead, motivate, and inspire a small team through clear expectations, consistent coaching, and thoughtful feedback, fostering a culture of accountability and pride
- Own the day-to-day performance of the business, translating company objectives into achievable store-level goals and actions
- Actively contribute to sales and client development through personal selling, styling, and relationship-building
- Build and maintain strong relationships with local clients and the surrounding community, positioning the boutique as a trusted destination
- Deliver an exceptional end-to-end client experience, driving repeat business and long-term loyalty
- Leverage clienteling tools to attract, retain, and engage a highly personalized client base
- Ensure operational excellence across all store processes, including inventory control, cycle counts, shrink prevention, and expense management
- Maintain impeccable store presentation, ensuring visual merchandising and brand standards are consistently upheld
- Recruit, onboard, and develop a small, cohesive team aligned with brand values and service expectations
- Serve as the primary point of ownership and decision-making for the boutique, operating with a thoughtful, entrepreneurial mindset
- 5–8 years of progressive retail leadership experience, including experience as a Store Manager or a senior, tenured Assistant Store Manager ready to step into full ownership
- Comfortable leading a small team in a highly hands-on, client-facing environment
- A strong seller and relationship-builder with a genuine passion for clienteling, styling, and service
- A confident, credible, and pragmatic leader who naturally represents the brand both in-store and within the local community, leading through influence and example
- Entrepreneurial and self-directed, with sound judgment and the ability to operate independently within a clearly defined scope
- Strong people leader with a track record of developing talent, setting standards, and holding teams accountable
- Polished verbal and written communication skills, with the ability to engage clients, teams, and partners authentically
