We are seeking a Fine Jewelry Sales Consultant to join our Willowbrook location.
Base pay range$70,000.00/yr - $/yr
Additional compensation types- Commission
- Advise customers by providing information on jewelry or watch products.
- Sell merchandise to consistently meet or exceed sales expectations.
- Provide outstanding customer service by warmly greeting customers and delivering a high-quality shopping experience to grow customer base.
- Take in jewelry repairs as needed.
- Document sales by creating or updating customer profile records.
- Keep clientele informed of special events and future merchandise of potential interest.
- Understand and utilize store policies and procedures to be proficient in handling customer transactions and solving customer issues appropriately.
- Perform store set up and closing procedures according to store guidelines.
- Minimum 2 years of fine jewelry sales experience.
- 4-year degree or AJP/GIA certification preferred.
- Experience with the Edge POS system preferred.
- Proven record of meeting or exceeding sales goals.
- Thorough knowledge of fine jewelry, watches and prominent high end bridal designers and brands.
- Experience using microscope and loupe.
- Strong interpersonal and communication skills to engage with clients, understanding their preferences and guiding them through the selection process.
- Demonstrated integrity and professionalism in all interactions with clients and co-workers.
- Desire to develop professional experience committing to continuing education through ongoing job specific and industry training.
- Must be able to work on Saturdays and special events as scheduled throughout the year.
- Be passionate about fine jewelry and exude a deep understanding of jewel craftsmanship and design.
- Possess in-depth knowledge of gemstones, metals and trends in the industry.
- Demonstrate the ability to create meaningful connections with clients, listening attentively to their preferences, and guiding them to pieces that resonate with their individual style and story.
- 2.0% commission on all sales.
