Job Description

Main responsibilities include answering telephone calls, greeting visitors, processing museum admission fees, handling merchandise sales and general administrative support for the Capricorn Sound Studios and Museum at Mercer Music dents will receive training in ticketing and point-of-sale software and basic museum operations. Additional responsibilities include ensuring the museum is ready for visitors, setting up for special events, stocking merchandise and completing other tasks as assigned.

Location

Mercer Music at Capricorn is located at 540 Martin Luther King Jr. Blvd, which is in downtown Macon, so applicant must have transportation.

Hours

Museum hours are 11 a.m. to 6 p.m. Wednesday and Thursday, 10 a.m. to 6 p.m. Friday and Saturday, and 10 a.m. to 3 p.m. on Sunday.
